Honda Have Sold 800,000 Units Hybrids

At the Frankfurt Motor Show that will come soon, Honda will introduce its Insight Hybrid for 2012 to the public, next to the Eropean market, Civic 5d hatchback.The Honda Hybrid model is coming with new tweaks. For the first time, its emissions of CO2 drop to 96 g/km.The carmaker claims that this achievement comes from some improvements such as engine friction that is reduced, some changes to the air conditioning that is now using cold storage system, revised CVT transmission and reduced fuel consumption. For the outside, the 2012 Insight comes with some changes including fresh front grill and front bumper that is restyled. At the back, it is completed with smaller spoiler that makes it possible for larger glass area. And for better back visibility, it uses the slimmer wiper.

Honda opens up the 2012 sales report by announcing their latest achievement in selling 800,000 units if hybrid vehicle all over the world. The Big Red H Japanese carmaker is proud of what they achieved although their primary goal is to take down Toyota with the Prius selling record. The first time Honda sold the hybrid vehicle was back in November 1999 where the first Honda Insight took the initial delivery. It means that in order to achieve total selling of 800,000 units; Honda needs 12 years and 2 months.

We traced back the history as Honda launched the second version of Insight hybrid in 2009 in order to compete against the popular Toyota Prius. Since then, Honda has been developing Insight hybrid for six vehicles in total. It is understandable because Honda shares the same enthusiast with Toyota in term of making Earth for better place for the future generation.

The New Mazda Verisa

The compact car from Mazda, Verisa version, got a refinement, although it was not such a victorious model from its beginning in 2004.
The refined Verisa is offered in two different versions- Verisa L, which has a leather-covered steering wheel with sand-colored and black design, and the Verisa C, which is featured with new Coral Brown fabric seats with light brown on the sides.

Main features of the freshened Mazda Verisa

• A new feature is Lilac Grey fabric seats with orange stitching. The new design features matching color door trim, parts surrounding the meter panel, and glove box lid (Verisa C)*1.
• The addition of three new body colors – Lilac Silver Metallic, Metropolitan Grey Mica, and Sparkling Black Mica – brings the available exterior range to eight colors.
• High quality leather-wrapped steering wheel as standard (Verisa C).
• Vehicle immobilizer fitted as standard equipment (all grades).
• Audio-less specification as standard. (To best match each driver’s needs, the space for a head unit in the center panel is left open. The Audio-less spec allows for a variety of audio systems) (all grades).
• 1 The existing Black Red interior color combination is still available for the freshened Verisa C.

NEW SUZUKI SWIFT SPORT

FRANKFURT - Japanese car company Suzuki, very serious about building the latest generation of Suzuki Swift for the automotive market in India. That particular engine able to give 134 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque and coupled with a specially developed six-speed manual transmission.

For the safety features, the 2012 Suzuki Swift Sport hatchback will be fitted with a light, stiff, impact-absorbing body, seven airbags (includes curtain airbags and a driver’s knee airbag), and Electronic Stability Program – ESP.
