New Mazda MX-5 Miata

Roadster made its debut in the year 1990. Initially, it was a little convertible. It is one of the affordable roadsters that were dominated by British car makers. Mazda Miata was introduced as a contemporary approach to engineering and reliability.

MX-5 Miata is a 2-seat convertible that was powered by a 2.0-L inline 4-cylinder engine that can manage 167 horsepower. Power transmission to the wheels is done via 5- or 6-speed manual transmission.
Miata is accessible in 3 trims: Touring, Sport, and Grand Touring. Sport trim in the line-up is aimed at budget, Touring trim is aimed in the added equipments, and Grand Touring comes with more luxurious features.

The vehicle is offered with the combination of fixed-roof refinement with open-air exhilaration. For the past decades, Mazda Miata was the purest forms of fun. Many features like bigger cabin will make the Miata a more credible choice.

Rumor has it that the engine choice for the 2014 MX-5 convertible sportscar will be 1.3L of four-pot. Following the trend on the sportscar and supercar world, it means that this Japanese iconic vehicle will once again weight less a ton due to the massive use of high-strength steel and aluminum. Oh, and we almost certain that Mazda will put turbocharge system on the performance of this sportscar.

NEW in 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport PHEV

Mitsubishi is heavily committed to developing plug-in hybrid vehicles at the moment, and one unwanted side-effect would be the arrival of an Evo XI that you’d have to plug into the wall. However, there are some appealing cars coming as well, among them a plug-in hybrid version of the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport that has been rumored for a while, and now a similarly powered Outlander.

If the rumors prove to be true, and the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport plug-in hybrid crossover does arrive in the United States by 2013, it’ll be Mitsubishi’s second electrified offering with the 2012 i-MiEV (or i, as it’s know in the States) hatchback already on sale.

After that, Mitsubishi says it will have a total of six additional electric vehicles and the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport plug-in hybrid crossover is in it before the end of 2015, including a minicab MiEV. Furthermore, Mitsubishi anticipates that its global production of plug-in vehicles will soar to 27,000 units per year by 2015.

Mitsubishi New Crossover

Mitsubishi is in the middle of reinventing process as they want to transform their image into greener automaker company. The first step initiated by i-MiEV which then inspired the creation of Mitsubishi PX-MiEV II Concept. Since then, everything about Mitsubishi seems to turn into hybrid vehicle including the possibility arrival of the hybrid version of Outlander in 2013 and the craziest of all is the Evo hybrid. Now, here is the hottest fact of all: Mitsubishi is introducing part of its new crossover in the form of teaser image.

Just a single teaser image? Yup… although it is still in one piece of teaser image, we pretty sure that the rest of the images of the not-so-mysterious Mitsubishi crossover will unveiled soon. The Japanese carmaker spilled that the official unveiled and introductory of their new crossover will take place at Geneva Motor Show in March. Anything can happen for the next two months, right? We are referring to leaked images or official photos of unnamed new Mitsubishi crossover.

Examine the teaser image of the new Mitsubishi crossover and tell us what you think. We think that the front look – especially the grille – is similar to the PX-MiEV II Concept. We predict that the new crossover will be using the PX-MiEV II Concept as the platform. It means that the crossover could be powered by the combination of 2.0L four-pot engine with two electric motors.
