The car will begin road trials in the United States next year. Pricing for the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid will be in the 3 million yen ($36,000) range when that car is released in Japan in 2012. – Toyota still plans to release a fuel cell hybrid in Japan sometime around 2015.
